I am Farah Saleh, a third-year student majoring in Artificial Intelligence. My goal for this internship was to gain a comprehensive experience that not only enhances my technical skills but also fosters my personal growth. When I came across the IAESTE internship post on An-Najah National University’s website, I was intrigued by the wonderful opportunities showcased. I decided to apply, and after a successful interview, I received an offer from SITA, a global company, to intern in Jordan.
Upon arriving in Jordan, I was immediately touched by the warmth and hospitality of its people. Adapting to the new environment was seamless, thanks to the support of IAESTE, my beloved university, and my colleagues at SITA. Finding accommodation and navigating the city was easier than I expected. Working at SITA was a fantastic experience; the company truly values its employees and provides a comfortable and supportive work environment. My colleagues were always welcoming and ready to help. Every day brought new challenges and learning opportunities, which kept me motivated and engaged. Throughout the internship, I worked on several projects that allowed me to apply my academic knowledge to real-world problems.
Overall, my experience with the IAESTE internship in Jordan was truly remarkable. It provided me with a wealth of knowledge, both technically and personally, and gave me the chance to work with a global company that appreciates its staff. I recommend future IAESTE interns to seize every opportunity for learning and growth, be open to new experiences, and never hesitate to ask for help when needed. This experience can be extremely rewarding if approached with an open mind and a positive attitude.
In conclusion, my internship with SITA in Jordan through IAESTE and An-Najah University was a life-changing experience that I will always cherish. It has equipped me with invaluable skills and memories that will stay with me throughout my professional career.
