Dr. Manar Qamhieh

Acting Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence

I am currently the Acting Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence and an Assistant Professor in the Computer Engineering Department at An-Najah National University, Palestine. I previously served as the Director of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department from 2022 to 2025.

I earned my Ph.D. in Parallelism and Real-Time Systems in January 2015 from Université Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée in France. I hold a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering (Embedded Systems, with a minor in Robotics) from ECE Paris (2011), and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from An-Najah National University (2008).

Our faculty is committed to providing a stimulating academic environment that blends theoretical education with practical experience, while enhancing students’ skills and competencies across various disciplines, including Computer Science, Computer Science Apprenticeship, Management Information Systems, and Cyber Security. We also strive to strengthen our students’ employability by connecting them with the professional market through strategic partnerships and dynamic curricula that keep pace with rapid technological advancements.
